Basic HTML Training If you have technically-proficient people in your company, you may wish to assume the task of web site maintenance internally instead of a package or on-demand maintenance. To this end, Montage provides a variety of training packages for this purpose, tailored for the languages used in Montage-designed sites. We provide basic training in the following areas: HTML - The base language of web sites (basic and intermediate) Javascript - For dynamic actions PHP - A server-based language for handling forms and other server programming

Basic HTML training is an entry-level course which allows someone to maintain most simple web sites, and the vast majority of the code in more complex ones. No prior knowledge of web design or HTML is required.

The course will focus on the following areas:

• Overview of HTML
• Document structure
• Backgrounds
• Headings
• Text and Fonts
• Paragraphs, Breaks, Horizontal rules
• Menus and lists
• Hyperlinks (anchor references)
• Images
• Tables
• Page layout using tables

The one day (9 hour) course consists of a PowerPoint presentation including lab exercises. Each participant will receive the PowerPoint handouts, exercises, and an HTML text book.

The cost of the course $900 fixed, plus $100 per person for materials. From 1 - 10 people may attend the course.

The course is conducted at your place of business and with your lab equipment. Any travel expenses are additional if not in the Pikes Peak region.
